Trestle Glen is the redevelopment of an obsolete RV trailer park adjacent to the Colma BART Station into an affordable rental community of 119 apartments. The new five-story building, created for households earning between 30 and 50 percent of area median income, will incorporate Spanish Mediterranean design elements, attractively landscaped outdoor courtyard areas, and a community room. A 56-slot child-care facility with outdoor play space will be included on the ground floor. Pan Cal Homes is the developer for the adjacent market-rate component with 32 entry-level for-sale townhomes. BRIDGE master planned the site and sold the land for the market-rate homes to Pan Cal. BRIDGE is using the proceeds of that sale to offset costs for Trestle Glen.
